Pelican House is a high-quality residential children’s home located in Slough. It will accommodate children and young people aged 8 to 17 and offer a stable, supportive, and therapeutic environment tailored to the individual needs of those facing emotional, social, and behavioural challenges.
Nestled in a peaceful suburban area, Pelican House offers a spacious, homely setting with comfortable living areas, private bedrooms, and communal spaces designed to foster relaxation and social interaction. The house features a modern kitchen fully equipped to meet the needs of all residents, creating an environment that feels like a traditional family house while ensuring safety and support at all times.
Each children’s and young people’s room is designed to create a warm, welcoming, and private space with a comfortable bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, chest of drawers, alarm clock, and lamp. Upon admission, each child and young person will receive essential toiletries, including shower gel, a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, and a showering scrunch. The house also offers ensuite bathrooms with extra-large bath and shower facilities for comfort and convenience.
